The weather is getting warmer by the day and the Hunter’s Specialties Vita Rack Clover is really starting to grow. We brought in the cards from our trail cameras today and the deer are loving the food plots. There were several nice young bucks visiting the plots and even lounging in front of the cameras at times in the afternoon sun.
Deer and turkey are still using the Vita Rack Winter Forage plots also. Even though growing season is coming to an end, the turkeys are enjoying chasing grasshoppers in the newly blooming turnips.
We always mix rye grass and winter wheat in with our winter forage, so as it heads out in the summer, it is always plenty of seed for the deer and turkey to pick on in the late summer and to shoot a few doves in early September.
