Missouri’s Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch is a series of preserves that allow hunters to experience a fair chase hunt with fully guided and semi guided hunts in a preserve atmosphere. Since the trophy animals are the real draw of the lodge, there are a few different types of hunts to choose from when you visit Oak Creek.
- Whitetail Deer: The most obvious hunt is the one the ranch is named for—their whitetail deer hunt. By using state of the art management practices over the past 20+ years, The main ranch at Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch gives you the chance to see a trophy deer on almost a daily event. Even though the terrain is over 1,000 acres of rugged rolling hills with beautiful hardwood bottoms, the guides at Oak Creek really do their homework and put you on the best deer possible. With an average deer of 243”, what else could a hunter ask for?
- The new ranch, Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch II, opened four years ago, offers some of the best semi-guided deer hunts available anywhere, with hunts that produce on average 179” whitetail, the largest ever being 373” in size. If you like a do it yourself hunt this is the ranch to try.
- Elk: Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch offers both bow elk hunting and rifle elk hunting, giving visitors the chance to harvest 300 to 400 class elk on a daily bases and up to 600” on occasion. With a limited number of hunters allowed each year (August through December only), the quality of the trophy elk you’ll find at the ranch is fantastic.
- Corporate Retreats: Many companies love hosting their group corporate events at Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch. With the beauty of the surrounding environment and the thrill of the guided hunts, groups of up to 20 enjoy hunts for customer appreciation, employee appreciation or even corporate retreats that facilitate bonding. With meeting rooms on site, conferences and business meetings can be held at the ranch as well.
