Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch helped raise $32,000 to fund conservation, education and hunting rights. We donated hunts for auction to both Dallas Safari Club and Safari Club International. Oak Creek Whitetail Ranch owner Donald Hill comments,”The conventions this year were very well attended and we truly enjoyed seeing old friends and making new ones. Each year we donate these coveted “First Week of the Season” hunts because we believe in and practice the principles of conservation, education and hunting rights advocacy”.

It is shed hunting time again! Sheds allow us to evaluate the deer that made it through the past winter. A few basic shed hunting tips!
– Search bedding areas.
– Timing! Check cameras for photos of      antlerless bucks and get out there!
– Look in areas where deer jump to clear      obstacles.
– Glass fields and open areas for antlers.
– Search feeding areas.
